REFUND/RETURNS FAQs

1     What happens if an article is faulty?

If your item is faulty or damaged when you receive it, we will see to it that the item is replaced or a refund provided.

We will meet our legal obligations under Australian Consumer Law.

Whether it is to be replaced or a refunded, you must notify us within 24 hours by email on - sales@comeandshop.com.au

that the defective item is going to be returned.

When contacting us please provide the following information:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your order number and date of order
  • The delivery address
  • Your day time contact phone number
  • A description of the fault or damage, and photo if possible
  • Whether you wish to have a replacement or a refund

You should post the item to us at - PO Box 1119 ALDINGA BEACH SA 5173, along with a copy of your confirmation order or invoice (remember to keep your original documents).

You have the choice of receiving a replacement article or of accepting a refund.

If your purchase is replaced, we will meet the cost of replacing the item including GST and cost of shipping, as well as your cost for returning the faulty item to us.

If you request a refund, we will make the refund payment to you in the same way as your original purchase payment was made (either credit card or Bank Deposit). The amount you receive as a refund will be 110% of the price you paid to purchase the article.

2     What happens if I change my mind and wish to return the item to Come & Shop?

 If you change your mind about any product you purchase from us we are not legally obliged to accept your return, however we will offer an exchange, gift certificate, or refund provided that:

  • the product is received by us within 14 days of receipt by you.
  • you provide your name and address, as well as the address to which the item was shipped,
  • you provide proof of purchase (order confirmation, receipt, credit statement or invoice),
  • the product is returned unused, in the same condition that you received it with all original tags/labels attached, and in its original packaging,
  • you pay all costs related to the return of the package and the original shipping cost, and
  • if an exchange is agreed the cost of sending the new item to you.

Fragrances cannot be returned (except if they are faulty).

Earrings (for pierced ears) cannot be returned (except if they are faulty).

Gift Certificates cannot be returned.

You should contact us by email – sales@comeandshop.com.au and let us know that you wish to return the item. Your email should include the following information:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your order number and date of order
  • The delivery address
  • Your day time contact phone number
  • Whether you wish to have an exchange, a gift certificate or a refund.

The item should then be returned to - Come & Shop, PO Box 1119 ALDINGA BEACH SA 5173

Once your return item is received we will notify you by email that we have received it. After inspection we will then confirm with you whether there is to be an exchange, a gift certificate, or a refund.

Refund payments will be made in the same way as your original purchase payment was made (either credit card or EFT).

If you are returning an item valued over $75.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if there is no tracing provison or insurance cover.

3     To what address should I send a return item?

The item should then be returned to - Come & Shop, PO Box 1119 ALDINGA BEACH SA 5173

If you are returning an item valued over $75.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item if there is no tracing provision or insurance cover.

4    How long does it take for me to receive a refund?

If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically issued within 7 days using your credit card or Bank Deposit, whichever was your original method of payment.

If you have not received your refund after 7 days, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card provider, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We will always do our very best to make your refund as hassle free as possible.

5     Is each Gift Certificate unique and are they refundable?

Each Gift Certificate has a unique number registered on the Come & Shop database.

A Gift Certificate can be used by either the purchaser of the certificate, or a person to whom the certificate has been given.

Gift Certificates can be used for  purchasing an item up to the value of the Certificate.

If the item to be purchased with the Gift Certificate is greater than the value of the Gift Certificate you will be invoiced for the additional cost which you should then pay by Bank Deposit.

It is not possible to return a Gift Certificate or to claim a refund.

Gift Certificates can be used to make a purchase from Come & Shop up to 12 months from the date of issue on the Certificate.
